For many years, the east european company Interskol has been producing high-quality power tools that make it easier for craftsmen to carry out repair work. Among them is the P-24/650ER rotary hammer.
Design and ergonomics
The compact low-cost model is perfect for use in an apartment, private house or commercial premises. A flexible and durable cord, thanks to a 4-metre length, allows you to move freely in a small object.
The rotary hammer has 2 modes of drilling: without blow and with blow. There is also a chiseling function, but you should not exploit it much. For intensive loads, the tool is not intended, and it is not suitable for permanent work on large construction sites.
The model has a convenient additional handle for balancing, which, paired with a low weight (2.65 kg) due to the use of aluminium alloy in the case, does not tyre during prolonged use.
The design of the rotary hammer is modern and ergonomic due to the horizontal position of the engine. I was also pleased with the convenient location of the mode switch button and the presence of a power button lock. The handle is covered with dense rubber, which partially dampens the vibration of the tool, making operation more comfortable.
P-24/650 ER comes in a plastic case, but with not very reliable locks, therefore, it is better to handle them carefully so as not to break.
Product functionality
The power consumption of the tool is 650 watts. This is enough to make holes with a diameter of 30 mm in wood, 24 mm in concrete and 13 mm in metal. The crown can easily drill holes with a diameter of 65 mm. The brush reverse allows you to pull out the stuck drill without consequences for the tool, and the safety clutch will protect the user from injury.
In general, the tool is well balanced in terms of functionality, quality and price, which makes it attractive to most private craftsmen and craftsmen of all trades.
