The relatively inexpensive inkBOOK brand e-book is a solution with a small 6-inch display based on the Android operating platform. The bookreader is notable for the presence of popular wireless data transmission modules, namely Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth, as well as the increasingly relevant USB C interface (the latter is used to charge a 1900 mAh battery). The screen is made using E Ink Carta technology, that is, it is as comfortable and safe for the eyes as possible, supports touch control (plus there are familiar keys), and is complemented by a backlight with adjustable color temperature. The inkBOOK Calypso Plus e-book is characterized by an average picture detail (resolution of 1024 by 758 pixels), but it can offer a rich set of supported book file formats, including FB2 and EPUB. The Andr...oid OS has a built-in browser and dictionary, allows the installation of other applications, and 16 GB of memory is “reserved” for books and other files. Among other features, it is worth highlighting the light weight (155 grams), the moderately thin case form factor (9 mm), as well as the availability of variations in different colors (including quite bright red, green, blue versions).
