Semi-professional model for catering
The semi-professional disposer In-Sink-Erator LC 50 belongs to a large family of equipment for the disposal of food waste from the well-known American brand In-Sink-Erator. This is a compact commercial model that will serve well in small cafes and restaurants, snack bars, hotels, kindergartens, school and hospital canteens, where the kitchen is constantly busy with cooking. The device implements special technologies and design solutions created for the catering market. However, this did not affect the simplicity and flexibility of using the device. The waste shredder is manufactured at the company's facility in the USA and received a one-year warranty from the manufacturer.
Cutting elements made of chromium-nickel steel
The model is distinguished by an increased volume of the crushing chamber of 1405 mL made of stainless steel, which allows you to quickly dispose of food residues with minimal power consumption. The cast cutting element is made of chromium-nickel steel, which is why its sharp edges do not need to be sharpened. 0.5 hp DuraDrive industrial motor (375 W), designed for long continuous operation, operates at a high speed of 1725 rpm, providing a performant single-stage processing of food waste. Automatic motor reversal and built-in overload protection increase the life and trouble-free operation of the disposer.
Quiet Plus Noise Absorption System
The device is equipped with everything necessary for easy installation with a simple connection of outlet pipes without the use of welding. The lack of a traditional starting device with a pneumatic button in the kit is compensated by the ability to connect the device to a conventional wall switch. Sinks with outlet diameters from 3 1/2″ to 4″ (90 – 101.6 mm) are suitable for installation, and the Quick-Lock system allows installation without the use of special tools. In this model, the proprietary Quiet Plus noise protection system (48 dB), consisting of a double sound-absorbing shell and an enlarged casing, deserves special praise. The device turned out to be unusually heavy (packed weight 15.9 kg) and quite expensive. However, its high price is fully justified by the industrial design, reliability and special scope.
