Model overview based on user reviews
The Hyundai HY1000Si generator is a compact and lightweight solution ideal for users who prioritize mobility and do not require high electrical power. Weighing only 13.7 kg, it is easy to transport and features a 4-stroke engine with a capacity of 53 cm³, which starts manually with ease. It offers a rated power of 0.9 kW and a maximum power of 1 kW, making it suitable for low power digital applications like powering a field workstation or charging gadgets. The generator is fuel-efficient, consuming just 0.6 liters per hour at 50% load, allowing its 2.7-liter tank to last for 6-7 hours. Users appreciate its acceptable sine wave quality for switching power supplies, although some have noted issues with the air filter causing carburetor overflow, necessitating frequent cleaning. Additionally, there are concerns about engine speed fluctuations, which may indicate a potential defect. Overall, the Hyundai HY1000Si is a practical choice for those needing a portable power source for moderate energy demands.

Excellent mobile gasoline generator for low power digital applications
31 August 2016
We use it as a power source for a field workstation or, in human terms, a powerful computer that works in conjunction with special radio measuring equipment. Initially, there was an idea to abandon a powerful computer in favor of a laptop and power the rest of the equipment from batteries. But the computing power of a laptop based on the top Core i7 was not enough. I had to order a full-fledged workstation with a desktop high-frequency six-core Core i7-6850K with 32GB of memory, and it is simply unrealistic to feed such a machine with batteries. So this little generator appeared on our farm.
This is perhaps the perfect solution if mobility is important and high electrical power is not required. The computer consumes up to 350w at peak, considering reactivity, and the rest of the equipment consumes about 70-100 watts. This leaves a twofold power reserve, part of which we sometimes use for local LED lighting, charging mobile phones, and other gadgets. The quality of the sine wave is not perfect, but quite acceptable for the switching power supplies of our equipment. The weight of 14 kilograms is not a burden at all. The engine is small, only 53 cubic centimeters, so it starts manually quite easily. It consumes so little gasoline that the tiny tank, less than three liters, is enough for 6-7 hours of operation.
Tricky air filter. Because of it, the carburetor overflow sometimes occurs. Therefore, the filter requires frequent, in our case, almost weekly cleaning.
normal model, nothing special

fairly light weight. compact, good design
Bought it three days ago through "Rozetka". I'm concerned that from the first moments of operation, there is a wave-like [censored] fluctuation in engine speed from normal to almost complete stop in both modes (economy and standard). This happens both with and without load (650-watt electric drill). This does not occur with my more powerful inverter Kipor. I'm worried this is a sign of a manufacturing defect, potentially leading to quick failure. What should I do?
