Speed

The HyperX DataTraveler 3.0 256 Gb drive is no exception to the rule. It can offer very fast read and write speeds, and has a distinctive and stylish design. The flash drive turned out to be incredibly fast: when connected to a USB 3.0 port, data will be read at speeds up to 225 Mb / s, written at speeds up to 135 Mb / s. For example, an impressive GTA 5 game (61 GB) will be transferred to a flash drive in just 7-8 minutes. In the USB 2.0 interface, you should not count on ultra-fast performance — data is processed at values up to 30 Mb / s. On top of that, the drive received support for ReadyBoost technology, thanks to which it is possible to improve computer performance.

Cap

The rubberized metal case has not very limited dimensions (75x23x16 mm). The flash drive connector is closed with a cap, which is worn only on one side. A special latch was made for the cap at the opposite end from the connector, which made it more difficult to lose it.

Performance

Some users note the heating of the flash drive case during prolonged intensive loads. Perhaps this is the only drawback of the cool drive from HyperX, which does not affect its performance in any way.
