HyperX

Kingston has made its name in the memory market with flash drives, SSDs, sticks of RAM and more. Relatively recently, they decided to develop another area of activity, namely, gaming peripherals, turning the HyperX line into a separate gaming brand and releasing the HyperX Alloy series of gaming keyboards. The FPS Pro model was the answer to the requests of the players to release a compact game model without the unnecessary Numpad.

Switches Cherry MX Red

Externally, HyperX Alloy FPS Pro looks like a simple, high-quality mechanical keyboard, in which there is nothing superfluous. The layout of the keys is standard, all blocks are separated from each other. The operating experience is 100% positive, Cherry MX Red switch keys are firm, responsive and precise. It is equally pleasant and cut with friends in Overwatch, and typing texts. Of the pleasant things, we highlight a removable wire in a fabric sheath and a set of 8 additional interchangeable keys. But the backlight here is not RGB, but solid red with five brightness levels and six dynamic effects.

The perfect TLK keyboard?

In general, the TKL version of HyperX Alloy FPS turned out exactly as it should have been. Simple, high-quality keyboard, in which there is nothing superfluous. Kingston used a successful minimalist design and gave gamers a compact mechanical model. There are no critical flaws in the keyboard, and it costs only $80 — it is much cheaper than the top models from Razer and a little more expensive than the really budgetary mechanics from REAL-EL.
