HP's line of 15.6-inch laptops has expanded to its proprietary ZBook series, which combines mid-budget and advanced workstations in a portable form factor. The family models are equipped with fairly powerful hardware, ready to perform resource-intensive professional tasks, including video rendering, 3D modeling or the use of CAD systems. The laptops have an aluminium body that should effectively withstand shock (meets the military standard MIL-STD-810), a backlit and spill-resistant keyboard, a glass touchpad, a webcam with a shutter and a fingerprint scanner for authentication and data protection.
HP ZBook Power G10A laptops are based on the AMD platform of the Phoenix family (Zen 4 microarchitecture), so they are equipped with powerful processors, up to 8-core 16-thread Ryzen 9 PRO 7940HS in older versions. To increase performance, at least 32 GB of DDR5-5600 MHz RAM is provided, and graphics processing can be handled by both the integrated Radeon 780M accelerator and the low-profile discrete NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada video card, “tailored” for professional tasks.
The laptops received a 15.6-inch display, whose resolution, depending on the configuration, can be either standard Full HD or 2560x1440 pixels. A solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 4 TB and a 6-cell battery with a capacity of 7170 mAh (83 Wh) also deserve special mention. The latter should provide up to 14.5 hours of battery life, supports fast charging (replenishing up to 50% capacity in just half an hour) and the USB C Power Delivery function. Other features of the models include a gigabit LAN port and a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) wireless module, Thunderbolt v4 and HDMI v 2.1 connectors, as well as acoustics tuned by Bang & Olufsen specialists.
