Factory CISS
The MFP prints in colour and does without the usual cartridges. Instead, the device was equipped with a factory continuous ink supply system (CISS). On one refill of the enlarged black ink tank, the model is capable of printing up to 18,000 monochrome prints, and the content in three colour ink tanks is enough to produce about 8,000 pages in colour. The ink for the printer is supplied in non-spill jars with a non-return valve.
Wireless printing
The model supports both traditional wired connection to a computer using a USB cable (it is not included in the kit), and newfangled wireless printing technology. You can manage the MFP directly from your smartphone through the functional HP Smart mobile app. From it, documents and photos are sent to the print queue, scans of papers are made, and the programme also has a simple photo editor.
