Quiet and fast monochrome laser multifunctional machine that allows for self-refilling of toner. Designed for light to medium workloads (up to 2000ppm maximum), this model is capable of delivering impressive print volumes at an impressively low cost per page. The manufacturer is positioned as a product of the middle price category from the Neverstop Laser line of the 2019 sample.
The device is focused on office use and servicing the needs of individual jobs or small workgroups of up to 5 people. Can perform the functions of a monochrome laser printer, flatbed scanner and digital copier with fast scaling. The HP Neverstop Laser 1200W MFP connects directly to a PC or workstation using a USB B port. Wi-Fi 4 makes it easy and quick to integrate the MFP into an existing wireless network infrastructure. Laser printing technology guarantees high quality output with a resolution of 600 dpi. A decent print speed (20 ppm) and a short first page latency (7.6 s) allows you to quickly print both single sheets and large multi-page documents. The flatbed CIS scanner can work with a resolution of 600 dpi.
Few modern inkjet printers do without a continuous ink supply system. CISS (to be more precise, SNPT) are just getting close to the “laser” detachment. And the first steps in this field were taken by Hewlett-Packard in the face of the Neverstop Laser 1200W model.
Continuous Toner Supply System
The MFP has a cartridgeless design and prints monochrome prints exclusively. Out of the box, the model is filled with toner with an eye to the possibility of printing about 5,000 pages. But the main thing is that absolutely any user can handle the procedure of “refilling” the device with powder ink. Refueling kit for HP Neverstop Laser 1200W is made in the form of a giant "syringe" with a chip on the tip of the "tail". This side of the "syringe" is inserted into the filler neck, after which it remains only to gently press the piston.
Connection flexibility
Connecting devices to the printer from the outside is implemented in the traditional wired way, via a Wi-Fi network through a router or directly with mobile gadgets using Wi-Fi Direct technology. He also received support for popular services HP Smart, Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria. Having accelerated "to its fullest", the MFP accumulates up to 20 printed sheets of paper in the output tray in 1 minute. This applies to both the printing and copying functions.
Interchangeable photoconductor
The toner used by the device accumulates in a special photodrum tank, the resource of which is claimed within the limits of about 20K prints. Its replacement will result in about a third of the cost of the MFP, but the new drum will be filled out of the box for the same 5,000 pages. The only complaint about the model, subject to the office "registration" lies in the small capacity of the paper feed and output trays (150 and 100 sheets, respectively). However, this is only in the context of other "workhorses" — the HP Neverstop Laser 1200W will fit perfectly into a home environment or small office.
