The family of HP 15.6-inch laptops can be classified as mid-budget versatile solutions. These models are primarily intended for office work, study, and/or other everyday, less demanding tasks. Representatives of the lineup feature a moderate weight (1.52 kg) and compact dimensions (19 mm thickness). They boast a fairly capacitive battery that offers nearly a full working day without needing to be plugged in (about 8 hours) and supports fast charging (claimed 50% in 45 minutes).
Important features also include a good level of durability, verified by compliance with the military protection standard MIL-STD-810. The laptops are equipped with a FullHD screen with basic image parameters, a sound system with two speakers and a Realtek ALC3247 audio chip, and a full-sized water-resistant keyboard that prevents laptop breakdown in case of liquid spills.
The models are based on an Intel platform, including 13th generation multi-core processors (Raptor Lake in higher-end modifications and Alder Lake-N in lower-end ones) and an integrated Iris Xe or UHD Graphics card. System performance is supported by no less than 8 GB of RAM, and for software and other data storage, there is a solid-state drive SSD M.2 starting from 256 GB. Other standout features of the family include a webcam with a protective shutter and a fairly standard set of wired interfaces, including one USB-C port.
