With a capacity of 71 liters, the Hotpoint-Ariston brand oven is an inexpensive appliance with support for steam cooking. Users are offered three specialized Steam modes: for bread, meat and fish. The instructions indicate both the appropriate amount of water to add to the chamber, and the optimal temperature regime for the most popular dishes. As a result, it is easy to steam chicken, whole fish, roast beef, lamb shank, buns, baguettes and more.

In total, the Hotpoint-Ariston FA4S 841 J IX HA has 11 modes. In addition to specialized steam programs, these are various types of heating: standard upper and lower, conventional and turbo grill, convection. There is also a separate mode for cooking pizza and large meat dishes (from 2.5 kg), a dough raising programme and forced ventilation eco (for roast and stuffed meat).

The spread of operating temperatures is quite standard: from 60 to 250 °C.

Economy and ergonomics

Although the maximum power is a solid 2.9 kW, and the grill is 1.8 kW, the oven is characterized by economical consumption of electricity. So, for one normal cooking cycle, on average, up to 1 kW is consumed, and with the use of convection — 0.69 kW, which corresponds to a high efficiency class A +.

The control panel is represented by recessed switches with sensors (without additional child protection). The delivery set includes 2 baking sheets, a grill grate and a set of telescopic guides for one chamber level.

Despite the support of the steam function, there is no special hydrolysis cleaning mode. Consequently, the process of caring for the internal surfaces of the chamber will be quite laborious, although they are covered with easy-clean enamel.
