Model overview based on user reviews
The Hoco ES20 Original headphones offer a budget-friendly alternative to more expensive models, with a design reminiscent of Apple's AirPods. Users appreciate the good sound quality and comfort, even after exposure to rain. However, the battery life is a significant drawback, with some users experiencing only 1.5 hours of usage instead of the advertised 3.5 hours. Additionally, there are reports of connection issues and durability concerns, as one user noted problems after several months of use, including a dead earbud. Despite these issues, the headphones are lightweight and provide decent performance for their price, making them a reasonable choice for those seeking affordable wireless earbuds.

After 5-6 months of non-intensive use, problems with the connection began: it connects for 10 seconds and disconnects. After another 3 months, 1 earbud died.
Good sound, comfortable.
For six months. The charge lasts about 1.5 hours instead of the claimed 3.5.

People's AirPods?

Hoco ES20 can be seen as an attempt to make people's AirPods. What will be of interest to Apple fans? Firstly, the price is almost 5 times lower than AirPods. Secondly, verbatim copying of "apple" headphones — from the appearance of the headphones themselves and the battery case, to a weight of 4 grams and LEDs to indicate the charge and connection status.

iOS integration

Thirdly, Hoco ES20 buyers get branded native iPhone support with the headphone battery level displayed on the smartphone display. Fourthly, "bluetooth" version 5.0, microphone and incoming call management. And this is great, because most Chinese manufacturers are limited to simply copying Apple's design and slaughtering the numerous goodies that AirPods are interested in. But with smartphones on Android, everything does not work so smoothly, the headphones can start to randomly change the volume, switch tracks, or lose connection with the smartphone.

2 hours battery life

The only thing you have to put up with is mediocre battery life: it is less than 2 hours of talk time and listening to music. For comparison, AirPods hold up to 5 hours. It will take about an hour to fully charge the ES20 from the charging case. The battery capacity of the case itself is enough for about five recharges, that is, about 10 hours of listening to music.

Apple design 1 in 1

Well, the sound ... As in AirPods, it seems to be there, and at the same time it seems to be gone. Either because of the design (these are earbuds, not plugs), or for some other reason, but their music reproduction is rather mediocre. As is the soundproofing. Therefore, they work much better as a headset. But the ears do not get tired of long-term wear, thanks to the form factor of the “earbuds”.
