Main Unit
The front camera is located in the main module of the device and is equipped with wide-angle optics with a field of view of about 140°. The main unit is mounted on the inside of the windshield using a holder with a reliable adhesive pad. Power is supplied from the car cigarette lighter socket through a pass-through connector directly in the mount.
Shooting Up to Quad HD
The front camera records video at a maximum resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. The second camera is remote and records in a simpler format — 1280x720 pixels. On the back of the case, facing the car's interior, there is a large 3.69-inch IPS display.
Onboard Equipment
The Hoco DV12 can overlay the speed and coordinates of the car onto the video. Additionally, the model features a Wi-Fi wireless communication module and a durable supercapacitor. The user only needs to purchase a microSD memory card for storing recordings — the dashcam supports storage devices up to 128 GB inclusive.
