Delicate tool for precise work

Inexpensive grinder Hitachi G13SS2 is designed for delicate construction and metalworking work. Considering the low power of the engine (only 600 W), you should not try to cut a rail with it or cut strobes in dense concrete, because the tool will not withstand the loads and will “choke”. But with the cutting of thinner products, such as metal profiles or fittings, it can easily cope, not to mention the simpler operations associated with cleaning welds or grinding surfaces.

Small and quiet "Japanese"

The device is very light (only 1.8 kg) and compact (254 mm in length). Such a power tool will fit anyway along with all accessories and consumables. Thanks to not the most powerful engine, the angle grinder works quietly (compared to other angle grinders) and with virtually no vibration. Users note thoughtful heat dissipation (the tool does not overheat during prolonged use) and good insulation of the "insides" from dust, which often kills lower-quality angle grinders. The tool would not interfere with rubberized pads on the case (but, thanks to the small diameter, the device fits comfortably in the hand) and a longer cable (two metres is not enough).

Angle grinder partner

There is a large selection of angle grinders in the Hitachi lineup, and the Hitachi G13SS2 is the smallest of them. It can be useful to a private craftsman as the main tool, and in a production or construction site as a “partner” for a larger and more powerful angle grinder, like the Hitachi G18ST.
