Looks Like a Toy, but Works as Well as "Adult" Ones
The Hitachi D10VC2 drill is very light and compact. It weighs only 1.3 kg and fits in one hand, making it perfect for working in hard-to-reach places and overhead. The tool has a rubberized handle, and a special stop on the back surface prevents your hands from slipping off the drill, no matter the position. There is also a hole for a side handle on the body, but the additional handle is not included (any M8 threaded handle can be screwed in, costing a couple of dollars).
Precision Is the Politeness of Kings
The drill chuck is quick-release and removable (it can be unscrewed and replaced with a standard one). The standard chuck with an internal diameter of 10 mm has an interesting feature: its jaws close to "zero" (most other drills leave a gap of at least 1.5 mm between the jaws). So, the Hitachi D10VC2 can work with very thin drill bits, with a diameter not exceeding 1 mm. This drill is indispensable if you need to drill very fine and precise holes.
The high precision and neatness of the work are also facilitated by the ability to preset the speed. The chuck rotation speed is adjusted flexibly and with extreme accuracy thanks to the 24-position adjustment wheel.
Drill for Neat and Precise Drilling
Due to the low power (only 460 W) and the lack of a hammer function, this drill cannot work on brick and concrete. Its domain is drilling thin and neat holes in wood, drywall, wood boards, and thin sheet metal. Therefore, the Hitachi D10VC2 is perfect for a home workshop or small DIY repairs, but for serious construction work, it's better to choose a more powerful drill or buy a hammer drill.
