Precise circular guidance
Hitachi C7SS is a low cost performant model for sawing wooden beams and planks. It works with discs up to 190 mm in diameter and is capable of cutting wood up to 68 mm thick. During cutting, the disc does not “hit” the material, but smoothly enters the wood, so there are no chips or torn off pieces. The cutting depth is adjusted using a special lever with a scale from 1 to 68 mm. Stability and easy guiding of the unit along the cutting line is ensured by a cast aluminium sole, which, unlike cheaper models, is fixed rigidly and does not swing relative to the body.
Quick change of carbon brushes
The model has conveniently organized access to carbon brushes: just unscrew the valve on the body and remove the part. This design feature allows you to change the brushes when worn, without contacting a service centre. The “inside” includes a turbofan that blows off the sawdust, freeing up the saw line and giving a good view. However, the vacuum cleaner cannot be connected, since the nozzle is not included in the kit.
Light model
The Hitachi C7SS circular saw has a fairly light weight of 3.4 kg, so you can work with the tool for a long time without fatigue in your hands. The blocking of the "start" button prevents accidental start of the circular, and also eliminates the need to constantly keep the button pressed during operation. Some users note the slightly uncomfortable sliding plastic front handle. Double isolation of the tool allows to work from the household power supply without grounding.
