Hisense 55U8KQ is a flagship TV with tiny LEDs of the Mini LED backlight system, which allows you to create 672 zones of full-mass local dimming on a 55-inch diagonal screen.
Full HDR package
The more local dimming zones there are on a TV screen, the more contrasting the picture it can produce. Plus, the model supports all the most common specifications of extended dynamic range imaging technology: HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision. These formats are no longer found only in films, but also in many console games.
Our whole life is a game
The gaming purpose of the model is revealed by two HDMI 2.1 ports, supporting eARC and broadcasting a 4K signal at 120 Hz along with VRR and ALLM options. VRR technology provides variable screen refresh rate, and ALLM is responsible for low latency (about 6 ms). In game mode, frame rates of up to 144 Hz can be achieved from the TV panel.
Powerful audio system
In the under-screen area of the TV body there is fabric upholstery, behind which a powerful audio system is hidden: two 15-watt speakers, a couple of 5-watt speakers and a 20-watt subwoofer. Hisense 55U8KQ supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual-X, creating an additional virtual sound space. As for smart functions, the model runs on the proprietary Vidaa system with pre-installed online cinemas and the App Gallery application store. Although the variety of services available on Vidaa is limited, it provides everything you need for a comfortable viewing of a variety of content.
