The Hikvision outdoor surveillance camera (sub-brand of HiWatch) is an analogue solution with a cylindrical metal body, representing the middle price segment. The model is well prepared for various weather surprises, as it is able to operate in a wide temperature range (-40 °C ~ +60 °C) and is not afraid of water (protection class IP67). Another important feature is a motorized varifocal lens with a variable focal length from 2.8 to 12 mm, which provides a 4x optical zoom.

Also, the Hikvision HiWatch DS-T506 video surveillance camera is equipped with a 5 megapixel CMOS matrix, which allows you to record videos with 2592x1944 details at 20 frames per second. When the resolution is reduced to 2560x1440 pixels, the smoothness of the video sequence increases to 25 fps. Other features of the model include a high f / 1.2 aperture and a minimum required illumination of 0.01 lux, as well as the presence of infrared illumination, which should take care of the visibility of objects in complete darkness at a distance of 40 metres.
