The model supports both wired and wireless internet connections, through LAN or via Wi-Fi, and is compatible with the Hik-Connect mobile application. The latter provides remote access capabilities, allowing for distance video viewing, both in real-time and archived mode. The Hikvision DS-KH6320-WTE1 intercom allows for extensive expansion of the access control system, including the connection of up to 16 surveillance cameras, and has 8 alarm inputs for notifying about the activation of various sensors.

The model is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen displaying colorful images (TFT matrix) with a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels. The manufacturer claims a straightforward setup and operation procedure, without the need for a personal computer. Additional features include door opening, voice message sending to a visitor when unable to respond (answering machine), and the possibility to create local data storage (there is a card reader supporting SD cards up to 32 GB).
