The Hertz DSK 170.3 car speakers are a component system known for their clear sound and suitable mounting depth, making them a great choice for vehicles with limited space, such as the Aveo T200. Users have noted a significant improvement in sound clarity and pleasantness compared to previous models like the Ural AK-74c. Although the bass isn't as deep, it remains satisfactory, especially when paired with a subwoofer. The speakers perform well when cut off at 80 Hz, and even without a subwoofer, they provide a balanced sound when cut off at 60 Hz. Overall, the Hertz DSK 170.3 offers a reliable and enjoyable audio experience.
Pros
The car (Aveo T200) had Ural AK-74c speakers, but due to the large mounting depth, the glass hit the magnet, so I had to look for an option with a smaller mounting depth. I was very surprised when, after replacing the Urals with these Hertz, the sound became noticeably clearer and more pleasant. The bass isn't as deep, but it's still quite good. I cut them off at 80 from below, and in combination with the subwoofer, they perform well; if you disconnect the subwoofer and cut the speakers off at 60, you'll have a good balanced sound up front.
