HECO Ambient 5.1 A

The German HECO is a brand that for 65 years has set itself the task of creating acoustics uncompromising to the environment and handles with it with honor. Ambient 5.1A successfully embodied a spectacular stylish design and excellent frequency response.

Premium Design

At first glance, the HECO Ambient 5.1 A gives the impression that it is difficult to compete with it in terms of performance: anodized aluminium cases, tempered glass bases (6 mm), black piano lacquer finish on MDF panels, gold-plated connectors - everything here is the best and in German soundly and beautifully.

The Ambient 5.1 A uses a two-way circuit with 3/4" dome tweeters and 75mm midrange drivers. The drivers are equipped with long-staple paper cones and magnetically shielded aluminium coils.

Outstanding Performance

The characteristics of Ambient 5.1 are tuned with instrumentation when tested on modern cinema footage. Thanks to the excellent speaker layout with a bass-reflex subwoofer, a wide stereo panorama is provided.

The active subwoofer is made according to the “Downfire” scheme: a 4-inch driver is directed downwards. Thanks to this solution, the bass sounds deeper and more powerful. With rather modest dimensions, the subwoofer's rated power of 60 W is quite up to par. Adjusting the crossover frequency, level and phase allows you to use the speakers in rooms of any configuration.

A large margin of the total rated power Ambient 5.1 A 320 W guarantees complete identity of the levels in a fairly wide frequency range (28 – 34000 Hz) anywhere in the room.

HECO Ambient 5.1 A is a real king of cinema sound, albeit a small one. However and worth it accordingly.
