Glass and cast iron for aesthetics and practicality

The FCMA58109 has a glass lid instead of the traditional material (metal). The glass lid is easier to clean from dirt. On the other hand, it is less reliable than metal. But as for cast-iron grates, many housewives are unanimous — this is the best solution for a gas stove. Pans on them are more stable than on enameled ones, and with good care, cast iron retains its original appearance for a long time.

Small restrictions for savings

The oven here, as expected, with a drawer for dishes and double-glazed doors. Hansa did not forget about the timer to turn off the oven. The manufacturer seems to have saved on a couple of important little things. Unfortunately, FCMA58109 lacks telescopic rails. This will not affect the quality of food preparation, but it will not be very convenient to get dishes on baking sheets from the oven. The lack of guides, as well as gas control, is forgivable for low-cost vehicles, but for models from the middle price category, this is a drawback.

Crispy and non-scorching dishes

Plates of the German company have several proprietary features. They have a large useful volume of the oven (65 L) and instead of the usual flat baking sheet, a special one is used — with a ProCook embossed coating. If large ovens are found among models of other brands, then the ProCook is a unique solution. The surface of the sheet has a relief structure of hexagonal honeycombs (an analogy with a grill). Products on it seem to hover above the surface. Hot air envelops them from all sides and there is practically no burning from contact with metal, even without baking parchment.
