Connection to drinking water filter

The kitchen tap of the famous German brand Grohe Blue 33251 stands out among classmates with the convenient ability to connect to a drinking water filter. Getting drinking water directly from the tap in the kitchen was made possible thanks to the independent supply of untreated tap and filtered water through separate internal ducts. For washing dishes, a side single-lever joystick is used, mounted on the right side of the body. Grohe's SilkMove lever action technology ensures precise and effortless mixing of water throughout the life of the tap. The supply of filtered drinking water is regulated by the handle on the left. The drinking water control unit allows you to set the desired temperature in the range from 6 °C to 10 °C.

About the design and operation features

The device has a C-shaped spout and, with a total construction height of 403 mm, provides a jet height of 253 mm, leaving the aerator at an angle of 5°. The mixer is equipped with a ceramic cartridge with a non-standard diameter of 46 mm. The operation of the mixer is designed for a range of operating pressures in the water supply system from 2 to 5 bar, which corresponds to the actual values in our networks. Higher pressure in the water main will require the installation of a reducer at the inlet. At normal pressure in the water supply, the water flow rate is approximately 9 L / min, which is quite economical. The hot water inlet temperature must not exceed 70°C. The model is available with two types of wear-resistant coatings Grohe StarLight: matte "stainless steel" and polished "chrome". The tap comes with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. The device is good for everyone, if not for one thing. Unfortunately, the basic configuration of this model does not include water filters, which will have to be purchased separately. For a starter set of filters, you will have to pay about $ 300, which in total with a mixer will be very expensive.
