Model overview based on user reviews
The Gorenje GT boiler series offers compact and stylish water heaters with fast heating capabilities, making them ideal for kitchens or areas with limited space. Users appreciate the quick heating speed and elegant design, with some models heating water to 75 degrees in just over 20 minutes. However, there are concerns about the lack of a thermometer, which can lead to overheating risks, and some users have reported issues with leaking tanks and faulty valves. The warranty conditions require regular maintenance, which can be inconvenient and costly. Despite these issues, many users find the boilers reliable for short-term use, though some have experienced significant defects. Overall, the Gorenje GT series is praised for its efficiency and design but criticized for its durability and maintenance requirements.

Do not buy!!!
19 August 2017
Do not buy!!! For the second week, there has been a flood of orders for valve replacements from the warranty service, and there are no decent ones available either!!!
Dimensions
I strongly advise against buying this!
We bought two boilers.
On the very first day, the valve on the first one leaked. It took 3 days to sort out its replacement.
After 2 weeks, we discovered the same defect in the second boiler.
Again, 3 days of negotiations. As a result, the "Gorenje" warranty technicians came, replaced the valve, and it leaked again right in front of them!!!
They said there are dozens of defective ones! The new valves are also faulty - nothing to replace them with!
Result: We got it for hot water, and now we have neither water nor sanity.
And the price isn't the cheapest!!!
use Gorenje GT 10 U less than month
good model, like it

high power and small volume and who the husband is not bad, I mean small, dimensions. Can be easily stuck into the bathroom, for example, where space is limited. I would say it would be suitable for a kitchen or a bathtub for a shower, where not constant use of hot water is required. For example, in areas with intermittent hot water.
thermostat, fast, heating. Small in size, but that's just on the outside; inside it's a real "beast."
relatively small volume. If used continuously, there may not be enough water.

a model with serious flaws
25 February 2014
I have experience using two Gorenje water heaters. One is 60 liters, the other is 100 liters. The tank of the first one started leaking within the first year of use, and it was replaced under warranty at the store, after hassles with the service centers. The tank of the second one leaked exactly after two years. There is supposedly a warranty, but it's tricky - to keep it valid, it turns out you need to take the tank off the wall every 18 months and take it to a service center for maintenance. Transport and maintenance are at the owner's expense, averaging 380 UAH. If you haven't done this, there's no warranty! Either deal with the hassle and pay, or buy a new one each time. People, don't buy water heaters from this brand, it's just a money trap.
will work for some time after purchase, but how long depends on your luck
the tanks are bursting!!!
use Gorenje GT 15 U month or more i recommend it don't buy

Small water heater for fast water heating

The ten-liter electric water heater Gorenje GT 10 U is designed to serve one tap in the kitchen or bathroom. Thanks to the decent power of the heating element (2000 W) and the small volume of the tank, it prepares hot water very quickly. Tap water with a temperature of 10 °C, entering the boiler, heats up to 65 °C in 20 minutes, and to the maximum possible 75 °C in 22 minutes.

Modest and tasteful

The design of the boiler is very modest and concise. Its body has an almost regular rectangular shape with slightly beveled corners. But it should be noted that the device is quite large (500x350x265 mm) by the standards of this class of water heaters, so you need to make sure that there is enough space under the sink siphon or next to it for mounting the boiler. In many photos, the case of the Gorenje GT 10 U looks light gray and matte, but in fact its surface has a white color with a glossy effect. On the front panel there is only the manufacturer's logo, an LED that lights up when the water is heated, and a round thermostat. By means of the rotary knob it is possible to set the required water heating temperature within the range from 25 °C to 75 °C. The manufacturer recommends choosing an intermediate value (indicated by the letter E), corresponding to a temperature of 55 ° C. The instruction manual for the water heater claims that in this mode, power consumption, heat loss and the rate of plaque formation on the heating element are reduced. The position of the regulator, indicated by an icon with either an asterisk or a snowflake, is used to switch the boiler to the anti-freeze mode, in which the heater will automatically maintain the temperature of the water in the tank at about 9 °C.

Economical and durable solution

Gorenje GT 10 U is considered an economical electric boiler, as it belongs to class A for energy efficiency. Thanks to a thick layer of polyurethane foam (up to 30 mm thick in some areas) between the tank and the body, the device retains heat well and, therefore, turns on less often to heat water. In addition to economy, it should be noted good protection against corrosion. The enamel coating on the inner walls of the storage tank and the magnesium anode inside it are responsible for this. The manufacturer gives a 5-year warranty for the tanks of this family of boilers.
