Thanks to Goodyear's introduction of SmartTRED Weather Reactive technology into the tyre industry, the Eagle Vector EV-2 is able to adapt to both changing driving habits and seasonal changes. SmartTRED brings together the most important features of both summer and winter tyres – a highly cost-effective performance package that allows you to use just one set of tyres all year round. A special all-season silica-based tread material and SmartTRED Weather Reactive technology guarantee excellent performance in all weather conditions and provide excellent tyre life. SmartTRED Weather Reactive technology adapts the tyre's properties to the properties of the road surface in the contact zone (for different road conditions). This technology ensures that the tyre performs optimally in all weather conditions and increases tyre mileage until the tread wears out. All-season tread rubber with silica adapts to changing conditions and allows one set of tyres to be used all year round and increases tyre life. The 3D-BIS technology provides a richer pattern of sipes and additional traction edges, while maintaining the rigidity of the tread blocks, and provides increased traction on snow and ice, as well as reliable handling on wet and dry roads. V-TRED technology provides effective removal of water, dirt and slush from the contact patch, as well as resistance to hydroplaning. The winter wear indicator allows you to monitor the degree of tread wear, increasing road safety.
