Fast DDR4 RAM capable of running at 3200 MHz out of the box. It is a representative of the IRDM gaming line from the Polish brand GOODRAM, which in just a few years has become a serious competitor to popular RAM series from Kingston, Corsair and other famous brands. The decisive factor in the success of this series was the desire of the manufacturer to reduce the cost of production, while not sacrificing quality and speed. The GOODRAM IRDM X DDR4 2x8Gb kit consists of a pair of dual-channel DDR4 RAM modules with a capacity of 8 GB each. For both, the optimal operating frequency by the standards of 2022 is 3200 MHz with a standard latency of CL16 at a nominal voltage of 1.35 V. GOODRAM takes a responsible approach to the selection of memory chips, so all representatives of this family have...a good overclocking potential. Unfortunately, there is no support for XMP profiles, so any changes in memory performance must be made manually in the BIOS of the motherboard. To avoid overheating, the board and memory modules are almost completely covered by an aluminium heatsink with the Iridium logo and an interesting texture. The heatsinks are offered in several color options, so users can choose the design of the RAM based on the color of the case or the tone of the backlight.

The best option for a mid-range gaming PC

GOODRAM IRDM X DDR4 is a kit of two RAM modules of 8 GB each, designed for mid-range gaming PCs. This series is aimed at budget-conscious users who prefer a balance between price and performance.

16 GB of RAM is still enough for most AAA games

16 GB is optimal for most games. 8 GB is already considered the minimum required volume, and 32 GB is needed only in rare cases and at high resolutions 2K/4K.

Low profile radiator

The operating frequency of 3200 MHz is the gold standard for modern RAM. Kits with this frequency are slightly more expensive than standard DDR4 modules with a frequency of 2400 MHz, but can provide an FPS increase of 15-25%. Faster DDR4 modules at 4000 MHz and above are significantly more expensive and are not suitable for an optimal mid-range gaming PC. A low-profile heatsink protects memory chips from overheating, which allows you to try to overclock the modules.
