Usage experience. Now, about the cons: It eagerly picks up dirt, slows down, and becomes a bit sticky with micro-movements. If you want higher speed, you'll have to clean it every 2 weeks or so. The initial air glide decreases after a while, which is a plus for me. Another big plus is that it is very easy to clean (dishwasher detergent + microfiber cloth in warm water) and dries instantly. But when clean, it's too fast, with low stopping power. Doc suggested that all hybrid mats of this type are made in the same factory and differ only in size and surface texture. Mats like this include: Razer Megasoma 2, Roccat Hiro, ROG Whetstone, Steelseries DEX, CM Storm Power RX, Mad Catz Glide 19, etc. I occasionally play Quake, the results are good, it's very comfortable, but not as confident as on a cloth mat with good control. Overall, I'm satisfied with the mat and don't plan to switch to cloth. P.S. In the States, you can buy the Pferdeki Pad - an unbranded Glide 38 for the entire desk for 10 bucks. One of the best carpets in recent times, can compete with Artisan's. Hybrid surface - super fast, yet with good control, no difference in X/Y glide, more pleasant to touch than fabric like QCK. Water-repellent - meaning completely, water rolls off like from an umbrella. Can be quickly washed and doesn’t need half a day to dry. Good size. Very thin, sticks well to the table. The fabric edges are folded to the side and heat sealed. Logo is cut out, but not felt under the mouse. Should be durable. May be too fast. Can be cheaper. Can be larger.
