And here it is — the legendary Les Paul Custom from the American company Gibson — the unattainable dream of many guitarists because of its high cost, even by American standards. And this is perhaps the only drawback of this luxurious instrument. It is on this that the legends of world rock Gary Moore (played on a personal subscription version), Jimmy Page, Chad Krueger (Nickelback), Paul Landers (Rammstein) and others played and play.

Body and neck

Mahogany and only mahogany. Selected mahogany woods with great resonance and deep velvety sound form the basis of the body and neck of the LP Custom. Maple top and ebony fingerboard. The neck connection is glued, which, together with perfectly matched wood, gives a luxurious sustain. At the same time, each note is heard legibly and distinctly. The thin neck profile of the Thin C provides a comfortable grip, while the cutaway makes it easier to play on the high frets.

Mechanics and electronics

The LP Custom owes its signature sound not only to the wood from which it is made, but also to two classic humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets, which give the sound richness and softness. Bridge, tuning pegs, control knobs, position switch with cut-off — all of the highest quality and works flawlessly, and most importantly, for a long time.

Appearance

Depending on the colour of the deck, the colour of the hardware changes. So, for example, in the black colour of the body, the guitar will have gilded fittings and white edging, and in white — black fittings with gilded splashes and dark edging.

The Gibson LP Custom is one of those peaks that many guitarists aspire to, although not the highest.
