The model belongs to the professional class of devices: it is suitable for both home use and salon use. Single Temperature Mode

The GHD Glide is extremely simple to operate, as it is equipped with just one power button. This is explained by the fact that the electric brush functions only in one temperature mode — 185 °C. This value is considered optimal and relatively safe for most hair types. However, considering the cost and professional positioning of the device, an option to adjust the heating would be desirable. For example, such a temperature may be insufficient for coarse and very curly hair, while for damaged and weakened hair it might be excessive.

In other respects, there are no serious complaints about the model. Safety is ensured by the auto-shutoff function: after 60 minutes of inactivity, the unattended device automatically turns off. And a long 2.7 m cable with a swivel base provides freedom of movement without being rigidly tied to an outlet, which is especially important for professional hairdressers and stylists.
