New generation of thermopots

The Gemlux trademark appeared on the Russian market in 2015 and in a couple of years managed to win the trust and recognition of the consumer, thanks to ergonomics, stylish design, excellent technical characteristics and adequate cost. Buying a GL-WBD-4Q thermopot will cost almost 8K rubles, but it will not disappoint the user for a second.

Stylish power

The design of the device differs from most classic thermo pots. By the way, the manufacturer calls it differently — a boiler, although outwardly Gemlux GL-WBD-4Q can generally be confused with a coffee machine. Characteristic rectangular body in a combination of black and stainless steel, with a platform for dishes with a drip tray. The device is rather bulky, but most importantly, very powerful, at 2.6 kW.

Filtration

Inside there is a 4 liter plastic tank with a replaceable filter. That is, there is no need to pre-purify the water, the device essentially replaces a jug with a filter. By the way, Aquaphor filters are suitable for it.

Intensive heating

All control is concentrated on the front panel and is carried out using 4 touch buttons and an LCD display. It is noteworthy that the thermo pot allows you to maintain 6 temperature modes(55, 65, 75, 85, 100 ̊ С, 000 – for water below 55 ̊С), and at the same time, set the volume of heated water (100 mL, 200 mL, 300 mL, 000 – for continuous draining). That is, by pressing the "Temp" button, you select the temperature, then the volume of water and press "Start".

After a certain time (5 – 10 seconds, on average), the thermopot will dispense the required amount of water into the cup.

Optimal protection

The model supports control panel lock modes and auto-off without water. For forced locking, you must press the corresponding button and hold it for three seconds, otherwise the model will lock itself after 10 seconds of inactivity. The fact that you need to add water to the tank will be indicated by the E7 indicator on the display.

In general, Gemlux GL-WBD-4Q can be considered a new generation of thermopots, more advanced and attractive to the consumer. After all, it does not retain heat according to the principle of a thermos, but quickly heats the right amount of water to the right temperature. Although, on the other hand, without electricity, such a thing is useless. And this is worth considering.
