Crispy toast or stuffed sandwich?

A low-cost sandwich maker, which the manufacturer calls a sandwich toaster, allows you to cook fried toast from one bread, as in a regular toaster, or closed sandwiches with filling. For this, a form with a non-stick coating is provided, divided into four triangles. However the press does not seem to be strong enough, because the rectangular pieces are not cut completely, but only squeezed, and the edges are not completely sealed. In addition, the compartments are not too deep, so it is better not to make a large amount of hardware. Sandwiches, of course, will fit inside, but the handles with a clip-lock may simply not close.

Modest and inexpensive

Otherwise, this is a completely ordinary sandwich maker: a plastic case, two indicators (power and heat), a power of 800 W and the absence of an on and off button, which most manufacturers “sin” with. The surface heats up quickly enough, but it will take about 5 to 6 minutes for the bread to be well fried and the cheese inside to melt. The plates are non-removable (again, this is a feature of most low-cost models), so they cannot be washed under water. But they are well cleaned with a regular damp sponge.

The sandwich maker is quite compact, its dimensions are 26.5x14.2x27.8 cm. And although it does not take up much space on the table or on the shelf, vertical storage is possible. And so that it does not accidentally open, the same blocker on the handles will help. The cord is short — only 68 cm, so immediately look for a place near the outlet to work.
