The FUBAG BS 5500 A ES petrol power station will help you to wait out the blackouts without much compromise. The fact is that the rated power of the generator at 5 kW covers the lion's share of the needs in the household and on small construction sites.

petrol unit

The model runs under the command of a 13-horsepower gasoline unit with a volume of 389 cm³. When connected to a generator of consumers with a total load power of about 3.75 kW, the fuel consumption of the FUBAG BS 5500 A ES will be 3.12 L / h. On a full refueling of a 25-liter tank, the generator is able to stay afloat in this mode for up to 8 hours in a row.

Onboard equipment

The on-board equipment of the model included an electric starter for easy starting, an automatic voltage regulator, a connector for connecting an automation unit(purchased separately). Also on the control panel of the gas generator you can see a trio of sockets (two for 16 A and one for 32 A), an overload protection switch, an information screen for displaying the voltage, frequency and “mileage” of the engine (hour metre).

positive background

The generator weighs almost 90 kg. Therefore, for ease of transportation, optional wheels are offered for it. Unfortunately, wheels are often not included in the standard equipment of the device. The gas generator is noisy at a level of 97 dB. Yes, this is too much — a place for installing a mini-power plant will have to be carved away from home. But against the general background, supported by a democratic price, these flaws can be safely neglected.

Model modifications:
  • Model BS 5500 — manual start type
  • Model BS 5500 A ES — starting with an electric starter, it is possible to connect an automation unit
