The clothes steamer of the Austrian brand First has a stylish design and compact size. It is slightly larger than ordinary irons and is able to replace it in many ways, smoothing and disinfecting fabrics, refreshing things.

Design features

First FA-5649 consists of a steam generator with a translucent 1 liter water tank, a flexible 1.5 m steam hose and an iron. For convenient carrying of the device in the top part of the case the handle is provided. Rubberized feet at the base ensure the stability of the case on various surfaces.

The steamer is equipped with two nozzles: with bristles for cleaning fabrics and with a clip designed for pointing arrows. In addition, a hose holder with a hook and a brush for removing hair and fluff are available. The model did not receive a rack with hangers, which means that you will have to hold clothes in your hand or steam them on the floor.

Efficiency

The device is equipped with a tubular heating element with a power of 1500 W, which is an average for home steamers. First FA-5649 generates steam with an intensity of up to 50 grams per minute, qualitatively smoothes light (cashmere, chintz, chiffon) and medium (satin, fleece) in terms of fabric density (with thick linen and cotton is not so effective), disinfects and relieves clothes from unpleasant odours.

The steamer is one of the most affordable solutions on the market: it costs less than the closest analogue without a DEX DGS 130 rack, outperforming it in terms of performance.
