The heating boiler from the Italian company Ferroli is designed for installation in domestic systems with forced circulation of the coolant. And thanks to the support of work in low-temperature circuits, it will also fit for organizing a system of underfloor heating.
Power supply
The Ferroli LEB electric boiler is available in three versions, which differ in power: 6 kW, 7.5 kW and 9 kW. These modifications can be connected to both a single-phase power supply (with a voltage of 230 V) and a three-phase power supply (400 V), while more powerful models (12 kW, 15 kW and 18 kW) support only three-phase power.
Informative display
In the decorative cap covering the control button panel, a cutout has been made for a large informative display, which displays data on the device's operating parameters. With its help, it seems possible to programme the operation of the electric boiler for a week in advance, which allows you to significantly save on electricity bills (when using multi-zone electricity metres).
All you need
Ferroli LEB 9 is equipped with an expansion tank with a capacity of 10 liters, the purpose of which is to remove excess water from the heating system when the total volume of liquid increases as a result of heating. Thus, the equipment of the boiler includes everything necessary to ensure its smooth operation. An additional useful acquisition to the model can only be an indirect heating boiler, which is an indispensable element in creating a hot water supply system.
