big three
The F&D F-560X is a futuristic-looking 2.1-channel audio system with a total output of 56W. It consists of a pair of relatively compact satellites (2x14 W) and a large subwoofer (28 W). The main material of the satellites is plastic, and the subwoofer is wood, or rather MDF, which adds a velvety sound. The whole set weighs 5.1 kilograms. To protect against accidental damage, the speaker membranes are covered with grilles decorated with backlight.
Beats the beat
The F&D F-560X satellites are single-sideband, with 4-inch drivers and a frequency range of 120 to 20,000 Hz. The subwoofer has a driver with a diameter of 6.5", and the frequencies are extremely low 30 – 110 Hz, which, in fact, is required to reproduce deep bass. A separate external amplifier is not needed — it is already built into the speakers and is powered by a 220-volt household power outlet.
Music without wires
The F&D F-560X can be connected to an audio source both via a 3.5 mm MiniJack cable (aka AUX) and via Bluetooth 4.0 wireless connection. This allows you to quickly switch, for example, between a desktop computer and a laptop or smartphone. In addition, the audio system can play songs directly from a USB flash drive (MP3 and WMA formats are supported) or from terrestrial FM radio stations.
Remote control
The F&D F-560X can be controlled with the buttons and knobs on the body, with the remote control or with the Fenda mobile app available for iOS and Android. A 2.1-channel audio system with a subwoofer is best suited for listening to electronic and rock music, watching action movies and, of course, gaming. For audiophiles who appreciate instrumental and vocal compositions, it may be better to opt for two-way 2.0 stereo speakers, such as the F&D R25BT or R60BT, with a power of 25 and 60 watts, respectively.
