Affordable and convenient gas-petrol generator
The model from the ExtraLink brand is positioned as a hybrid solution that can operate not only on gasoline, but also on liquefied gas. Among gas-petrol generators, this device is one of the most attractive in price, which may interest budget buyers.
The ExtraLink EGH-3000 is equipped with a reliable steel frame. It increases the strength and protects the generator from impacts, but also increases the weight, which in this model is a moderate 45 kg. For ease of transportation, wheels are provided here.
Up to 3 kW
The heart of the model is a 4-stroke engine of our own production with a capacity of 7 horsepower with a manual starter. This engine is capable of non-stop supplying devices with a total capacity of up to 2.8 kW, and the peak power can reach 3 kW. This is enough to operate a submersible pump or a refrigerator with high starting currents, as well as a gas boiler, personal computer, etc.
To smooth out the voltage, the generator is equipped with an AVR automatic regulator, which expands the range of compatible devices. For connection, there are two standard 16 A sockets, as well as 12 V terminals. The latter can be used, for example, to charge a battery of similar voltage.
Over 10 hours of work
The generator has a declared fuel consumption of 395 g/kWh, which together with a 15-liter gas tank provides at least 11 hours of continuous operation without refueling. This is not a record figure, but it is sufficient for basic backup power supply scenarios for electrical appliances.
It is worth noting separately the presence of a fuel level indicator and a voltmeter for visual control of the operating voltage. However, there is no engine hour meter, which has become the norm for most modern models. If this is not a critical drawback, then the ExtraLink EGH-3000 is a decent dual-fuel generator, especially among budget solutions.
