The Escort 9500i is a revolutionary product that combines excellent performance with GPS technology to virtually eliminate false alarms and allows the user to programme alerts for fixed cameras, still cameras and high speed speed detectors.
When you receive a false alarm at a fixed location (such as a retail store or some other source of false positives), you can quickly and easily "mark" that location using the Escort 9500i's TrueLock feature. Once this place is "marked" by you, you will never get a false signal in this place again. Also, if there are red light cameras or cameras in your area, you can “mark” their location with this radar detector, and in the future the 9500i radar detector will always warn you if you approach these places. It is also very handy for locating common speed traps (detectors)!
The Passport 9500i has a bright blue display. A model with a high intensity red display is also available.
Escort Passport 9500i has other unique features thanks to built-in GPS. The overall filtering of false signals is improved due to the fact that now the detector can "feel" the speed of your car at a slower speed: the sensitivity is reduced, which makes it possible to exclude false signals.
The SpeedAlert feature will tell you the current speed of your vehicle when the detector beeps a warning.
