Epic suitcases are produced under the wing of the Swedish company Scandinavian Travel Innovation. In order to reduce the cost of transporting luggage, Scandinavian specialists had to work hard in order to create a lightweight and at the same time high-strength high-capacity solution — Epic Quantum L.
Lightweight frame
The lightweight frame of the model is formed from a polypropylene plate with multiple perforations, which is done to reduce weight. Additionally, it is reinforced with pads at the top and bottom of the suitcase. The outer "wrapper" of Epic Quantum L is represented by a fabric with an internal polyurethane coating that protects the contents from getting wet during precipitation in the form of moderate rain.
Volume increase
The highlight of the suitcase is the spaceBOOST expansion valve available in the assets to increase the volume — from the standard 89 liters to 104 liters. But the internal compartment of the model is only one, albeit with increased capacity. Fortunately, things in it can be fixed in different zones using standard compression harnesses. As compensation, the suitcase was equipped with a deep outer pocket for all sorts of small things and, for example, a change of clothes.
Required attributes
The Epic Quantum L sits on 4 agile DUALTRAK wheels made from a lightweight spoked base wrapped in silent polyurethane rubber. As usual, they rotate around the axis by 360 °, and in case of breakage or premature wear of the wheels, all their components are easily replaceable. Also, the design of the product was not without a TSA combination lock — a mandatory attribute of any self-respecting modern suitcase.
