I decided to purchase this power strip for my computer. The old strip had loose contacts, and the cable length was only 2 meters (so when I needed to move my workspace further from the windows, it was barely enough), and the plastic had started to chip in some places. Before buying, I looked at reviews and feedback on our sites and some foreign ones that I trust. People praised the protection against voltage spikes and short circuits. I don't exactly remember if I saw someone trying to set it on fire to check how safe the strip is in terms of fire, but something like that stuck in my memory. Before purchasing, I chose the model that comes with a cable length of 4.5 meters. When I picked up the strip and measured it myself, it turned out to be about 4.35 meters, not critically short, but also not the claimed 4.5 meters. In the cardboard box, besides the strip itself and a booklet, there was nothing else. What I really liked were the "shutters" for the sockets where the plugs are connected. This prevents dust or other dirt from getting into the electrical part of the strip. I couldn't take it apart and see what's inside because the manufacturer blocked the screws that hold the two halves together with something resembling metal plugs. I didn't figure out how to get them out, maybe it's for the best so that the user doesn't damage anything. The plastic feels sturdy, it doesn't bend when force is applied. The cable is well secured inside the filter and has a large diameter. According to the manufacturer, basic protection against voltage spikes, short circuits, and overloads is implemented inside. For brief moments, something is indeed implemented, as sometimes a light bulb goes out for a fraction of a second when someone in the apartment building is engaged in some "gray" activities, while the computer continues to operate.
