Increased capacity
Debuted in 2019, the washing machine represents the premium PerfectCare 900 line and is the flagship model of the Swedish manufacturer Electrolux.

A separate washing mode in the model is offered for cotton, synthetics, silk, outerwear and wool. The latter programme is approved by Woolmark, so that even woolen garments with the “hand wash” label are treated with care.
The washer also has a SteamCare steam programme. It will both reduce the number of folds and refresh things. The same mode is suitable for scenting clothes in tandem using appropriate fragrances.
Options include pre-rinse, delay start, anti-crease and Time Manager, which can reduce the standard time for most cycles.
Efficient drying and spinning
The inverter motor of the washing machine is able to spin the drum up to a speed of 1600 rpm. Such high speeds are the key to a good spin and minimal residual moisture.
Drying will allow to achieve absolutely dry clothes. In the joint Non-stop programme, drying with washing will take 3 hours (with a mixed load of up to 3 kg). You can start drying yourself. It is configured either by duration in increments of 5 minutes, or by the desired result. Available in cupboard, iron and extra dry options.
The downside of the premium functionality of the Electrolux PerfectCare 900 EW9W161B is the high price. But taking into account the quantitative and qualitative parameters, it cannot be called unjustified. And with a limited low-cost, you should look at younger brothers, for example, Electrolux PerfectCare 800 EW8WR261B, which is less economical (up to 6.7 kW per cycle with drying).
