Electrolux ESL 98810 is a model for those who plan to wash a lot of dishes and want a high-end machine. Its price immediately makes it clear that this is not an ordinary “ordinary” model, but a premium class dishwasher. But this machine has excellent economy — its energy efficiency class is A +++ (the best in the current classification system used in the EU). The noise level claimed by the manufacturer is only 39 dB, so it works very quietly (there are almost no quieter ones, only a few models). At the same time, 15 standard sets of dishes can be loaded into it, and not 12, like other machines with a width of 60 cm.
Extended set of programs
The Electrolux machine has an extended set of programs (8 pcs.) And temperature modes (6 pcs.): AutoFlex 45-70°C, "Eco 50°C" (also called "Bio"), "Glass 45°C", " Intensive 70°C", FLEXIWASH 50-65°C, "1 hour at 55°C", "Fast + 60°C", "Rinse and standby". In all programs, the machine uses water and energy very economically. Economy mode requires 11 liters and 0.85 kWh per cycle, and automatic (AutoFlex) — 7-14 liters and 0.6-1.4 kWh, depending on the amount of dishes and their contamination.
FLEXIWASH is used for washing dishes with heavy and normal soiling at the same time (similar to the "intensive zone" for Bosch and Siemens models). The "1 hour" programme is suitable for cleaning lightly soiled appliances and dishes in 55-65 minutes (the manufacturer does not recommend it for washing pots and pans). "Fast + 60°C" is designed for dishes with "fresh" soiling and cleans them in half an hour. These two modes have a minimum water consumption — only 9.5-10.5 liters.
Convenient status indicator
The "chip" of the ESL 98810 is the function of a beam on the floor with an indicator in the form of a timer, showing the remaining cycle time or a delay start. Similar solutions are found in the most expensive "dishwashers" Electrolux, AEG, Siemens. For other models, a dot is almost always shown instead of a timer. Also, the machine is distinguished by internal lighting and the presence of special holders for wine glasses. The only question is the lack of protection from children.
