Leader in capacity
Designed for 15 place settings, the Electrolux model is one of the most spacious open-panel appliances. Only some fully built-in dishwashers can wash more at a time. At the same time, the dimensions of the Electrolux ESI 8550 are standard: 82x60x58 cm.
The working chamber of the dishwasher is equipped with a third pull-out basket designed for cutlery. This design solution leaves more space in the main boxes for plates and other kitchen utensils.
Automatic and Favorite Mode
Electrolux ESI 8550 users have access to six washing programs. In automatic mode, the cleanliness sensor “tells” the automation all the main parameters. The settings of one of the remaining programs (Economy, Fast, Intensive, Delicate or Flexiwash, designed for one-dimensional cleaning of glass and metal) can be saved in the device’s memory and activated with one click.
Additional functions of the dishwasher include delayed start, additional drying (XtraDry) and TimeManager, which speeds up the selected washing cycle by almost 2 times due to increased energy consumption.
High-quality drying
Electrolux ESI 8550 supports the conditioning type of drying, which is traditionally considered not the most effective. But thanks to AirDry technology, the quality of removing residual water and moisture from dishes is improved. After washing is completed, the dishwasher door automatically opens 10 cm, which promotes natural ventilation and high-quality drying without streaks.
The dishwasher uses resources economically: per cycle it requires 11 liters of water and 0.86 kW of electricity. According to the latter indicator, the model belongs to the highest energy consumption class A+++.
The disadvantages of the Electrolux ESI 8550 include its rather high cost, but taking into account all the advantages, it seems a fair price to pay for such a spacious, functional and economical device.
