Practical and not noisy
In terms of dimensions, the Electrolux air washer is not the most compact (dimensions 47x42x28 cm), but due to its rounded shapes and laconic design, it does not look bulky or awkward. And users get a capacious 6-liter water tank, which does not have to be “refilled” often. Yes, and it is not necessary to bring it to the tap, because there is a top filling function without having to remove the mesh cover and/or turn off the device.
Electrolux EHW-600 works in one of two available modes. At high fan speeds, the “consumption” of water reaches 350 mL / h, which should be enough to humidify rooms up to 50 m², and the noise level will not exceed 40 dB. At a lower speed, performance is lower, but the noise drops to 27 dB.
Air and water purification
The device has additional cleaning systems. The incoming air passes through a mesh pre-filter, which is responsible for retaining animal hair and large dust particles. Additional water purification is also provided: the AG + ionizing silver rod is included in the delivery package, which prevents the appearance of unpleasant odours and the growth of bacteria.
Also Electrolux EHW-600 will replace the fragrance. It is proposed to add essential oils to a special retractable aroma capsule and fill the room with pleasant smells.
Care Automation
The issue of care, which is traditionally difficult for air washers, is solved in an interesting way in the model. So, the tray (water tank), the container for aromatic oils and the drum can be placed in the dishwasher for washing. And the dampening rotating mat (sponge removed from the drum axle) can be cleaned in the washing machine in cycles up to 40 °C. And, by the way, all these components are not limited in terms of service life.
The disadvantages of the humidifier include the absence of a hygrometer and hygrostat, that is, without additional devices it will not be possible to control and maintain a certain level of humidity. Today, such solutions are becoming rarer. But, according to the idea, without additional electronics, the Electrolux EHW-600 should last longer and please with simplicity and reliability.
This is a very successful model in many respects, from performance and tank size to design:
- At maximum speed, it's no louder than a household fan, and in night mode, it's practically silent.
- A full tank lasts about a day; if the room was very dry before, the effect will be noticeable after just a couple of days of use.
- You can use any water; there's no need to use only distilled water. However, the cleaner the water you use, the longer the inner part of the tray and the sponge will maintain their original pristine appearance.
- It's very convenient to operate and clean – top water filling, the tray is very easy to wash due to simple shapes, and the top grid can be cleaned with a simple wipe or under the shower.
- There are almost no consumables – the drum grid can be washed, only the silver rod needs to be replaced once a year.
- The aroma oil compartment really works, the fragrance can be noticed a few minutes after adding to the aroma capsule.
- Despite all its advantages, it costs less than the bestseller Boneco W210, while being more convenient in many ways.
