Saws: types, purpose and selection tipsA brief overview of different types of saws and sawing machines with tips on choosing the right tools
Model overview based on user reviews
The Einhell Home GH-EC 1835 is a powerful and reliable chainsaw designed for home use, featuring an 1800 W motor and a high-quality Oregon chain. Users appreciate its ability to cut efficiently without overheating, even in warmer conditions. The saw is well-balanced and comfortable to handle, making it suitable for extended use. It includes convenient features like keyless chain tension and blade replacement. However, some users have experienced issues with warranty service, particularly with the emergency brake, which was not covered as expected. Despite this, the saw is considered a decent and cost-effective option for occasional use, especially for cutting firewood or managing small trees.

Powerful machine, the Oregon chain also pleases, cuts well in the heat. The 34 motor is fine, doesn't overheat. Very satisfied. The material of the body is superb. Recommend.

So, don't pay for the warranty!!!!
Decent in operation
They do not fulfill warranty obligations!!!! The emergency braking broke down. I was the only one using it. I didn't get it stuck, didn't hit it, used it according to the instructions. They refused me repair. They say, go through an independent examination, file a lawsuit. Drained all my energy, and waited a month for an answer. I gave up on them, went to a workshop. Repaired for 250 UAH. It works )

Just a good saw for home or country

The Einhell GH-EC 1835 saw weighs 5 kg and fits comfortably in your hands. It is balanced in such a way that during operation, the same load falls on both hands. Therefore, even long-term sawing of firewood does not cause much fatigue among users. The power of the 1800-watt engine is enough to confidently cut young trees and logs with a diameter of up to 20 – 25 cm. If you do not press too hard on the tool, giving it unbearable loads, then the engine speed and chain speed practically do not fall as the tyre goes deeper into wood.

No problems in operation

Einhell electric and petrol chain saws have proven to be quite reliable and handy tools. In particular, users note that this saw almost does not heat up even during long-term work without stopping. It works well in the cold (but in the rain, of course, you should not use a power tool).

The saw is inexpensive to operate. She moderately "eats" oil (a liter canister is enough for about a truckload of firewood). But the oil level in the tank is practically invisible, and this sometimes leads to technical problems if you do not keep track and forget to add mineral grease in time. When the regular chain wears out (by the way, a high-quality Oregon cutting headset is installed on the saw), it will be possible to inexpensively buy any other 52-link chain with the same 3/8″ pitch instead. Changing the blade and adjusting the chain tension is carried out without the use of an auxiliary tool.

Inexpensive household grade chain saw

Like other types of Einhell products, this saw belongs to the class of household tools. It is inexpensive — this is a great option for a summer house or a private house if you do not trim trees and cut firewood on a daily basis.
