Household cordless circular
The Einhell TE-CS 18 saw is a household grade tool. It is considered inexpensive (by the standards of battery circulars), but at the same time it is of high enough quality and reliable so as not to regret the choice made. The saw is intended for sawing wooden blocks, boards, sheet materials (plywood or boards), as well as plastic. But when choosing a circular saw, please note that this model does not have the largest cutting depth (only 48 mm) due to the fact that saw blades with a diameter of 150 mm are installed on it. If you plan to sometimes work with boards and bars with a thickness of more than 50 mm, then it is better to buy an Einhell Expert TE-CS 18/165 Li Solo for 165 mm circles.
Good by the standards of the "low-cost" equipment
The tool is easy to use. The depth of cut and the angle of the sole (it is cast, made of aluminium alloy) are adjusted without a key. But it should be noted that due to the small backlash on the shaft, the accuracy of cuts at an angle leaves much to be desired (but the backlash does not affect the reliability). An interesting feature of this model is the presence of an adjustable flange. It is enough to turn the nut over — and instead of regular disks with a landing size of 10 mm, you can install disks with a 16 mm hole (they are more common on the market). The instrument is also equipped with an LED light. The design of the saw provides for the possibility of attaching a parallel stop, but it is not included in the delivery set.
You can connect a vacuum cleaner to the circular: native or any other. It makes sense to buy an Einhell TE-VC 18/10 Li-Solo cordless vacuum cleaner along with a saw, because they run on identical 18-volt Einhell batteries with a capacity of 2 Ah to 6 Ah (batteries are purchased separately from the tool).
Circular saw for hobby and home work
The Einhell TE-CS 18 cordless saw will be a great addition to your main (powered) hand-held circular saw, like the Einhell Classic TC-CS 1200. It can be considered as a tool for a hobby or do-it-yourself construction. But it doesn’t pull on a professional circular saw: neither in terms of depth of cut, nor in terms of power (the engine can “choke” if you try to cut too fast).
