The Einhell Classic TC-MG 220/1 Renovator is considered a low-cost tool, as it costs less than $50. But the low price in this case does not mean low quality. It's just that this device has a rather modest engine power (only 220 W — one and a half times less than the average network renovator). It is designed for users who like to make something at their leisure at home and do not subject the tool to heavy loads. But the small engine allowed the manufacturer to radically reduce the weight of the device. The cutter weighs only 1.26 kg.
Advantages and disadvantages
The renovator is equipped with a speed controller that smoothly changes the speed of the spindle from a minimum (11,000 cycles per minute) to a maximum (22,000 cycles per minute). Adjustability allows you to use the same device for sawing and grinding different materials that differ in density and other characteristics. Of the interesting features of this model, it should be noted the presence of an adapter for connecting a vacuum cleaner and a magnetic spindle. The magnet in the spindle makes changing bits more convenient as you have one hand free. However, the tool is still tightened manually (using a hex key). The quality of the “native” nozzles that come with the renovator does not cause much enthusiasm. But the spindle has a universal mount that allows you to use saw blades and grinding plates produced by other tool manufacturers.
