Budget-friendly Assistant for Dry and Wet Cleaning
The company ECOVACS presents an affordable robot vacuum cleaner designed for dry and wet cleaning. Despite its reasonable price, the device is equipped with everything needed for effective cleanliness maintenance. A suction power of 6500 Pa allows it to easily clean hard floor surfaces, collect debris from small crevices and low-pile carpets, removing dust, crumbs, hair, and pet fur. The wet cleaning system is extremely simple: a microfiber cloth is attached to the body, which is automatically moistened with water from the tank to eliminate dust and light dirt. Simply put, this device is created for daily tidying up but does not replace a thorough deep cleaning.
One useful feature is carpet recognition. When it encounters carpets, the robot automatically increases its power for more thorough cleaning, and during wet cleaning, it carefully avoids carpeted areas to prevent leaving damp traces. Among its advantages is also extended operation time, provided by a 5200 mAh battery and a spacious water tank of 420 ml. According to the manufacturer, one charge is sufficient for cleaning an area of up to 325 m², making the vacuum an excellent choice for large apartments and private homes.
Navigation and Control
Thanks to classic LiDAR and a set of additional sensors, the robot confidently navigates the space, builds accurate maps, avoids missing areas, and doesn't fall off stairs. When encountering furniture, the device maneuvers carefully, and for light collisions, a shock-absorbing bumper is provided. Through the proprietary app, the user can remotely control the robot, select the power level, set up a cleaning schedule, define no-go zones, and specify local areas for cleaning. Additionally, support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants allows the vacuum to be controlled with simple voice commands — starting cleaning, stopping it, or sending the device to its base.
