Radio clocks of the ECG trademark can be attributed to solutions of the middle price segment. The model provides for both stationary use (from the mains) and standalone operation (up to 2 hours with power from the built-in battery, which is charged from microUSB). Just for the last scenario, a carrying handle and a visual indication of the battery charge level on the dial are also proposed.

The plastic case is characterized by moderate dimensions (127x180x160 mm) and catchy colors - both light green and orange variations are on sale. The ECG R 500 U clock radio is equipped with a rectangular digital display with black characters and a control keypad, an FM tuner for listening to radio stations (memory for 15 pieces), and a pair of speakers with a total power of 6000 mW, providing a stereo sound effect. There is also a headphone output and several additional connectors, including USB and a micro SD card slot. Flash drives (up to 32 GB) and memory cards can be connected to play MP3 music files, respectively, the model also acts as a music player.
