Solid construction with 2 handles
Household oil heater ECG OR 2090, despite the typical characteristics, still found something to surprise the consumer. This radiator comes from the Czech Republic, and in terms of quality and price, it is closest to German products. The case consists of 9 sections, which are complemented by separate panels on the sides: in addition to the usual casing with a control unit, thermostat and built-in heater, the device has a volumetric reinforced sidewall on the opposite side. Thanks to this design, the device weighs 10.5 kg with solid dimensions of 64x50x24 cm. On both sides of the radiator there are heat-insulated handles for transportation, and they are not hidden, as in many models, but in the form of a protruding bracket. It is convenient to grab such a handle not only from below, but also from above, and 4 wheels guarantee smooth sliding on the floor covering. To store the coiled power cable, there is also a special compartment, which is closed with a hinged lid.
Custom Power Levels
The maximum radiator power is 2000 W, which provides comfortable heating of a room up to 20 m². The rotary switch on the control panel allows you to set one of 3 available modes with non-standard heating power values: 750, 1500 and 2000 W. And the thermostat adjustment knob allows you to set the desired temperature in the room. Between the switches is a power indicator light that displays the operating status of the instrument. The heater is equipped with a fuse that breaks the electrical circuit when overheated. After automatic shutdown and complete cooling (approximately 15 minutes), the device will be ready for use again.
Additional accessory - dryer
An interesting feature of the radiator is the possibility of additional purchase of a compatible accessory (dryer) that expands the functionality of the heater. The dryer is a plastic nozzle that is installed on the fins of the heating panel using folding legs. There are two steel hangers on both sides for drying a small towel or wet cloth. And on a flat area in the centre there is a nest for installing a removable container with water (included), which acts as a natural air humidifier.
