Flexible Settings
The Dualit brand burr grinder is designed for home use. To achieve the desired grind, the model offers 35 adjustment levels: a special ring allows for precise grinding settings for different brewing methods — espresso, mocha (geyser), filter, drip, Aeropress, pour-over, as well as more modern methods like Cold Brew, Vacuum Pots, and others.
The Dualit 75017 model is supplemented with a doser, which allows setting the necessary number of servings — from 2 to 12 cups. If desired, it can be easily turned off and used in manual mode.
Thoughtful Design
The device is equipped with metal conical burrs, which provide even grinding and decent grind quality by household standards. Notably, the grinder's design is detachable: the top unit can be removed for easier cleaning, and the bottom part features an ionization system that reduces static electricity and contamination.
Removable containers for beans and ground coffee with capacities of 250 and 150 grams respectively are also provided. Both reservoirs are transparent and equipped with airtight lids, allowing coffee to be stored for a long time without quality loss. Additionally, there is a compartment for the power cord and an extended kit including a special holder. With it, owners of portafilter espresso machines can grind beans directly into the holder.
The disadvantages of the model include the absence of an extra-fine grind to dust, needed for classic Turkish coffee. Otherwise, the Dualit 75017 represents a practical and flexibly adjustable medium-price range grinder.
